Winter swimming can make your stay here even more entertaining! Yet, first and foremost, it is one of the best ways to boost your immunity and well-being! There’s never been a fusion more effective than this one.
Nobody would doubt the beneficial influence of bathing in the cold Baltic waters on our health, for it is quite obvious. Winter swimming has a positive impact on your heart and lungs, reduces cellulite, boosts your metabolism, smoothes out and firms your skin, hampers ageing processes and helps to combat rheumatic ailments. Of course, there’s been a whole myriad of articles written on this unique sport, but we would still suggest consulting your doctor first, because there are diseases which prevent you from winter swimming.
When the autumn-winter season comes, we boost our immunity on a regular basis. There’s always an experienced winter swimmer present to take care of us, no have no worries. Before we enter the water, some jogging or a bit of aerobic comes first to warm us up. And when the swim is over, we all head for the sauna with a cup of some nice warm beverage in hand.
